Who is Judge Christopher C. Conner?

Christopher C. Conner was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1957 and is currently a United States federal judge. He received a J.D. from Dickenson School of Law in 1982 and was in a private practice of law in Pennsylvania from 1982 to 2002. He was an Adjunct professor at Widener University School of Law in 2000.

Conner is a federal judge to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Conner was nominated by President George W. Bush on February 28, 2002, to a seat vacated by Sylvia H. Rambo. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on July 26, 2002, and received his commission on July 29, 2002.

What is Impeachment?

Impeachment is a process that is authorized by the United States Constitution. The purpose for impeachment is to bring charges against certain officials of the federal government for misconduct while in office.

What is the definition of an "official"?

Article 2, Section 4 of the Constitution specifies that "The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." These "civil officers" include federal judges, and cabinet members, but do not include Senators and Representatives.

What are the grounds for impeachment?

As noted above, the Constitution specifies that high government officials may be impeached for "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." It is uncertain, however, what constitutes "high crimes and misdemeanors" because the courts have not speficically defined or interpreted the term, unlike other Constitutional clauses.

Many experts agree that there are different standards for impeachable and criminal conduct. Dean John D. Feerick of Fordham University School of Law states, in an article published in 1984 that "Most authorities agree--and the precedents are in accord--that an impeachable offense is not limited to conduct which is indictable. Conduct that undermines the integrity of a public office or is in disregard of Constitutional duties or involves abuse of power is generally regarded as grounds for impeachment. Impeachment is a drastic sanction, the misconduct must be substantial and serious."

Why should we impeach Judge Christopher C. Conner?

There are numerous reasons why Judge Conner needs to be impeached.

Judge Conner has been known to exhibit a racist behavior which has resulted in a lack of justice in some of his rulings.

An example of this would be when a pair of white cops beat the crap out of a black man, and Conner simply threw out the case. To make matters worse, the same pair of white cops just beat the crap out of another black man and guess who has the case? Judge Conner. We're anxiously awaiting the results of this one.

Judge Conner seems to get all of the suits coming out of York.

What is the reason for this? Is York using Conner exclusively because they know he will rule in their favor?

This is only the beginning!
